Background

Daughter of esteemed Gweragosa, mistress matron of the Arcane Reliquary. As a child born to the family trusted most by the Astral Observatorium's Elder Dragon Archaraku, Aligosa was destined to a life-long duty of watching over the boundless vault beneath the great Dragon city and the Dragon Relics stored within, a task since hatching she had embraced with detail and attention. Day in and day out the young Dragon would sink her mind into researching the powerful Relics of the Dragonhearth, keeping records of their attributes and legends as well as gaining the privilege of testing the weapons herself at times in a safe and controlled environment. Though much of her work had her captivated, the stories of Mortalkind wielding these relics were what drew her in the most causing an almost obsession for the young Dragon when it came to reading what was either written within the thousands of books of the Observatorium or told orally throughout mortal cultures, the latter of which she herself was able to record by regularly disguising herself as an Asvarian noble.

In a chance meeting with a lowborn she thought herself above even being near, Aligosa would become quick friends with Darktail after her father rescued the girl from a dark alleyway where her life was threatened. Their friendship would sprout into one of closely-connected clutchmates that could not be separated by their fathers once Darktail's family was located. Aligosa's friendship with Darktail would give her the undying passion she needed to pursue her studies to the ends.

Seeing the Gosa family as an important asset in his influence of the Astral Observatorium, Observer Archaraku would set his eyes upon their own child, wishing greatly for a union of the two families through a ritual of bonding. In her time fulfilling her duties Aligosa would come to know through Archaraku the Raku twins, Anderaku and Deltaraku, and though what at first was seen merely as a forced attempt as marriage and copulation would soon turn into a strong relationship with the latter twin Deltaraku with whom she would begin to spend time with on the regular. A similar case would come to be with his brother Anderaku who she would begin to see as a close friend with whom she could share many of her interests with and at point even cause a dispute between the two brothers when one begun to feel threatened over the other spending an excess amount of time with Aligosa. Still, a love would develop between the youthful prodigy of the Reliquary and the soon-to-be-heir of the Observer's seat of power with Anderaku remaining only a good friend.

The year 2999 marks a sorrowful period for the Astrologians of the Observatorium. Aligosa would develop a closer relationship with Anderaku and begin to see Deltaraku less and less over his excess need to prepare for the duel with his brother that would decide who would rule the family name in the future. As such, Anderaku and Aligosa would plan out and execute a galactic-wide journey as a means of observing the many cultures of Auria and do field study together. Sadly Aligosa would not return from that journey alive. Though to the public her death has been kept closeted, many rumours circulate over what happened in that journey with the main blame of the deed placed upon Mortals. Her death would also be the cause for a breaking point between the Raku twins' relationship towards one another, driving a permanent divide between them that would ultimately result in the destructive retaliation against Anderaku, transforming his body permanently while securing Deltaraku the title of heir. A similar divide was struck between the Raku and Gosa families when Gweragosa placed the blame for her daughter's death on Anderaku, subsequently blaming their whole family for such a tragedy. Though it came at a risk of losing her position as keeper of the Arcane Reliquary she would remain at the position and would remain there to this day. Aligosa's death also marked a loss in the databases of the Observatorium with much of her research dying with her, most prominently the effective creation of new Dragon Relics and their use. It is even rumoured that Aligosa created a Relic, though its identity and location is currently unknown.

Aligosa was given a rightful send-off though the place of her eternal rest has not been revealed to anybody outside the closed-off circle of the Observatorium's highest and their most trusted. Many controversies followed her death which led the Empire into a brief period of unrest calling for a new war upon Mortalkind and to set the Dragons upon the stage of highest order once more.

Powers and Abilities

In her time as a student of the Arcane, Aligosa would study alongside Anderaku and Deltaraku as an Archon. She was most skillful in disruptive spells that would prevent others from casting spells or manipulate them into being in her favour, akin to Anti-Magic practiced by Luxfordian Humans. She had her fair share of destructive spells too, though Aligosa would shy away from using them ever due to her own beliefs in resolving every dispute peacefully.

Aligosa also had a great deal of knowledge over the Dragon Relics and was able to harness their powers to a degree of expertise.

Physical Description

Aligosa was a light-blue and beige scaled Dragoness slightly shorter than Dragons of her age. She was somewhat stocky and had a fair share of muscle to prove her physical strength to those around her time and time again. She had four black horns and near-white eyes.
