To some, the race of Cobra-like snake people are a myth, those that tell of them often being brushed aside as simpletons confusing them with the Naga or the Senkh. Yet the Enkhulu folk have first-hand experience fighting these vicious snake-like people for centuries now, knowing that they are more than just clouded myths.

The Cobros have faded origins but it is theorized that they were once Lamia who inhabited the now dried out ocean that became the Duiwel Dunes in the process and forcing the Lamia to adapt and evolve to the drylands they were bestowed with. In the process of mutation and changing, the Cobros were born and they would quickly become a fierce opponent for the stone warriors known as the Enkhulu, often clashing blades with them.

Most of Cobros society live in underground caves in the Duiwel Dunes and Desolate Drifts, having dug themselves a network that spans the entirety of Grukoor though most of their exits appear in the Drifts and Dunes themselves. Despite their war-like expertise, they are humble folk who have even allowed Humans to settle towns in the desert and make trade routes with them that open the Cobros up to the rest of the world. They have also made a pact with the outlandish Ezamas of the Forsaken Reach, allowing select few among their kind to traverse the Zodros tunnel that connects their isolated mountain-top with Okramm. They only attack those that they feel threaten their people and territory.

Physical Appearences

Cobros are long snake-like creatures resembling cobras as befitting their name. They have hooded heads that can be extended and retracted at will, some Cobros decorating them with piercings to appear more appealing. Their scaly skin is often patterned that is passed down hereditarily.
