The Elves are known as amazonian warriors that revere the wilds and serve as protectors of nature. They have long studied the ways of the wilds and adapted to it, some even growing physical animalistic traits like horns, antlers, animal ears or even tails. Many Elves practice Druidism, a school of Magic that focuses on binding one self with the wild nature around them to forge a strong bond with the wilderness, allowing them to manipulate the land around them to some degree with wild growths and storms. Druidism has also become the core religion of the Elves through which their culture flows, believing that nature is a living force that protects them from harm but that they must also protect it in return from anyone who may defile it.

Ages ago, Dryads and Wolfen came from Somniva onto Auria to fight Demons that had pierced into the dream wishing to defile it. As their motivations are tied to one another, the Elves have accepted the Dryads and the Wolfen among their own ranks and the three races live together in their settlements, some even partnering up for a lifetime although a Elf or a Wolfen lives only a fraction of the time a Dryad can so these partnerships are never taken lightly. Together the three races built a mighty kingdom in Gwynbrenon that encapsulated the Gate of Dreams inside of it, with the name of the city becoming Nytlerei, City of the Dreamers.

Half a millennia ago, the Humans and their corrupt influence spread across the world, defiling the wilds with reckless abandon. This incurred the wrath of the Elves, who led a brutal counterattack against King Yvain Greymoore's forces that led to the mad king's demise, cutting through the forces of the remaining Humans with the fury of Nature guiding their strikes and magic. Throughout this counteroffensive towards New Luxford, the Elves rallied the cunning Fenik, the brutish Enkhulu, the mystical Naga and the wise Asvars under their ranks, pushing into the Grand Capital and liberating it from corruption. With the war over, the Elves returned to the Gwynbrenon to tend to their wounded while also aiding in restoring the wilderness that was destroyed by the Humans. Though they resented them at the time, the Elves left a small portion of Humans alive and let regrow, only warning that if they were to go down this dark, chaotic path once more, the Elves will personally end their race once and for all.

In modern days, the Elves continue to prosper in Gwynbrenon, worshipping the forces of nature and tending to their groves. Elves are highly faithful to their beliefs and may quickly turn sour when others challenge their ways. Many Elves have also left their ancestral lands to travel the world to spread the word of their faith as well as to tend to the wilds elsewhere, though some have also taken up humbler lives. They remain on good terms with the Wolfen and the Dryads.

Physical Appearences

Elves are generally tall Humanoids with long Elven ears and muscular postures, glassy silver or golden eyes that glow in the dark and purplish or bluish skin colour though some have it gray as well. Their teeth are mostly Humanoid though their canines are longer and more fang-like and their hair is often long, some braiding them, with an assortment of different colours it may come in.

The skin of a Elf is known to be tougher than a Human's as they have been known to taking on a direct slashes from blades with minor injury, making them excellent duelists and overall fighters that prefer fight head-on with swords and spears. Elves, like the Asvars, are excellent archers as well though much of the modern military of Nytlerei consists of melee fighters that can wield a bow when necessary.

Elves who are children of a Elf and a Dryad are born with extra animal body parts like tails, antlers or horns which give them a natural connection to the wilds at birth. These body parts are not only aesthetic and the Elf may use them if they see it fit, a tail of an Elf able to serve as a third arm for example.
