Fayelin Auros is a bright-eyed Wolfen with a past that's clouded in mystery. As a founding member of Adventure Co., Fayelin (or Fay as she is often nicknamed) is an adventurer at heart who is inspired by stories of eld and folklore to be a hero. She wields Starwrath, a powerful Dragon Relic.

Background

Knowledge of where Fay came from or how she came to acquire Starwrath are largely a mystery. Fayelin's own memories of a time before her relic weapon are foggy at best. What is commonly known is that she was an active participator in the Grand War as a member of the defence forces. Her Beastmaster partner in arms, Elwyn Drowfang, accompanied her on many battles throughout the Wyrmeron battles of the year 3000. It would be here that she'd also meet Lupendra Everblade, a high ranking Luxfordian officer who had recently risen from the dead using dark magics. Fayelin would be taken under the care of Lupendra, who would become keen on serving as both her trainer in martial combat and a protector. Following Wyrmeron, the three would go to Gwynbrenon to contribute in the war efforts in their own ways with Elwyn parting ways with the other two to pursue her own goals.

Later on, Fayelin would take part in a "great battle" that would leave her severely injured and forced to back away from the war. Lupendra would take her to a Draken named Keyr in Fexham so that she may recover. Fay would end up living with Keyr for years and during this time put aside her fighting spirit in favour of studying under him as an apprentice in Engineering, a career choice that neither of them would end up regretting as she quickly proved herself to be proficient in Arcatech. Despite an uptick in racism towards Wolfen at the time, Fay would live a commoner's life in Fexham and become a hero in a different way by aiding the locale in mundane tasks, battling constant ridicule and proving herself to the townsfolk. She would be an active ally for the Starguard Cafe, a small business owned by an elderly Elven couple who would get Fay's aid in mechanical know-how on many occasions.

One day day Fay would meet a Fenik Pirate named Rebana who'd commission from her repairs for her mechanical cutlasses. Fay would learn from Rebana that she seeks to find her lost brother Shira who had disappeared years ago and, unexpectedly, the Fenik would ask Fayelin to accompany her on this quest, stating that "She and Shira seem to think alike". Around this time, a figure known as Nidrogan would attack the town. Fayelin would, for the first time in years, pick up her weapon and come face to face with this antagonist that sought to bring with her a wave of havoc and death. With Rebana as backup, the two would duel but it would end in a stalemate even after Fay apparently delivered a killing blow to her rival as a dark power sustained Nidrogan and kept her away from death's door. In the course of the battle, the Starguards would perish in the ruin of their cafe and Keyr would lose his arm after a building collapsed on him.

Overcome with grief and blaming herself for this destruction, Fayelin would leave Fexham behind and take Rebana up on her request to travel to Gwynbrenon in search of her brother. When their attempts at finding this wayward Fenik yielded no results, Rebana would decide to found Adventure Co. in the seaside town of Dreamerin to serve as a form of attraction point for him to find her instead. While Rebana worked on getting the guild up and running, Fayelin would travel east to Glyngrove to find Alyanna Starguard, daughter of the late Starguard elders in Fexham. She'd deliver to her the bad news and afterwards stay in Glyngrove to study under her, becoming a Druid in the years to come.

After training in the ways of the Alach'Caraid with Alyanna, Fay would move back to Dreamerin and study under the Aglua Treoir, becoming skilled in the use of water-based magics and shapeshifting. She would become an active member of Adventure Co. and at some point reunite with Lupendra Everblade and Elwyn Drowfang, both of whom would add themselves to the guild's ranks. It is implied that at some point she would also face off against Nidrogan again, this time learning of her desire to fight Fay and see her at her best. With her suspicions that Nidrogan's attacks were motivated by Fayelin's presence proven right, Fay would grow more anxious to be around others. Keyr would also join Adventure Co. at some point, though he would go by the name "The Master" by the members to keep his identity hidden.

In 3015, Fayelin would take part in busting a secretive slave market in New Luxford. One of the slaves, the Keklar Anna, would be taken under her wing for a time. Fay would act like a mentor to this simple-minded girl and help her be integrated into society, making her a member of Adventure Co. soon afterwards. More recently in 3019 and 3020, Fayelin would meet Blackie, a Dragon disguised as a Draken Hybrid, and Beatrice Forestwolf, a Reverie Wolfen. Through mishaps and travel together, Beatrice and Fay would grow close and affectionate toward one another.

During a quest to put an end to Madam Salma's wicked trade in Dawn's Edge, Fay would face off against Nidrogan for the third time. This time, her draconic rival would reveal herself to be more powerful than ever, forcing Fayelin to call for a retreat while she stayed behind to keep her opponent busy. She'd lose her right arm in the process of fighting Nidrogan but would be left alive to "get better".

Fayelin's arm would regrow but at the cost of her own control. The Dragon Relic, Starwrath, is revealed to be at odds with its wielder and is constantly battling for dominance over her body. With blue tattoos covering her body a symbol of the spreading influence of the relic, Fay struggles to make peace with the fact that she is losing this long war within herself. At around that time, Nidrogan would show herself once more by capturing Elwyn and Carly Forestwolf, Beatrice's step-sister, and forcing Fay to act. The two would do battle at Lake Kurath against the Endwalkers led by Ard'Mhion Fathas. Here, Elwyn would lose her life in a sadistic ritual conducted by the Endwalkers to open a chasm beneath the lake. While they fought Nidrogan and the Endwalkers, back in Dreamerin an attack would occur on Adventure Co.'s headquarters which would result in their home being burned to the ground. Nidrogan would be bested by a reinvigorated Fayelin who would be filled with wrath at this point but once more escape her fate.

With memories of the past washing over her once more, Fay makes an attempt at her own life by throwing the cursed relic away, quickly losing her vitality upon being separated from Starwrath, forcing Beatrice and Rebana to put it back around her neck. Nowadays, Fayelin travels with Beatrice, taking life one step at a time while she tries to figure herself out.

Powers and Abilities

Fayelin is an accomplished Druid capable of an assortment of Nature spellwork, Shapeshifting and Healing. She lives to never be caught off-guard or without a tool so she keeps a many varied ways of approaching combat when necessary through the use of her shapeshifting weapon Starwrath, her magic and her different druid forms each capable of performing a different task or dealing with enemies in a different way. Her excessive need to not have any weaknesses has ultimately become her main weakness, as Fayelin hasn't been able to master any of her skills but her versatile toolkit and quick adaption oft cancels out her lack of mastery in anything.

Thanks to Starwrath, Fayelin's druidic magic is empowered. She may also uses the relic to conjure a weapon of any type to fight with it, although she prefers to use a battle spear. After the battle at Lake Kurath, Fay also wears a strong armour conjured by Starwrath. This armour is life-like and grants her the ability to lift off the air and hover using the wings attached to her back.

Fay's Cat Form

Druid Forms
Much like other Druids of Auria, Fay has the ability to transform into an animal that she has spiritually bonded with. So far she only has one known form.

Cat Form - In this form, Fay takes the appearance of a large Umbra at roughly 250cm long. Unique to her, the Umbra is partially covered in silver armour and is adorned with blue feathers sticking out her mane and shoulderpads, which also have the symbol of the moon carved into them. The eyes of the Umbra resemble Fay's own and she has two large saberteeth sticking out her mouth. Her fur has a mix of stripes and spots that have a bluish tint to them.

Bear Form - In this form, Fay takes the appearance of a tough Bear standing at roughly 300cm tall, with a height of 140 from paw to shoulder. Based on the Wyrmeron Bear that are Auria's largest species of bear, Fay adopts their toughness in this form but brings out an intensified glow to the fur, turning it full blue. Like her Cat form, the Bear wears silver armor over its head, shoulders and paws.

Physical Appearance

Fay's Humanoid Form

Fay is a white-furred Wolfen with an an androgynous appearance, bordering between femininity and masculinity. She has glowing blue eyes, long sharp ears and a black nose at the tip of her snout. She has a flowing white mane that runs past her neck. She has blue tattoos covering her body which serve as ethereal scars against her battle with her relic.

Since the battle at Lake Kurath, Fay is covered in a conjured Starwrath armour. In this armour, she wears a long coat that reaches down to her feet with a vibrant leafy rim. Her shoulderguards are decorated with crescent-shaped stones and leaf-like draconic wings protrude outward from her back.

Fay possesses a Humanoid form much like many other Wolfen, with hers being a Hybrid of a Wolfen and Human, a combination which is not commonly taken by Wolfen. In this form she is 160cm tall and has short white hair, blue eyes and a pair of Wolfen ears sticking out of her hair. She is lightly toned in this form.
