Background

As one of the six Primal Gods of Auria, Ignis Incendius (Often times just Ignis or Incendius) is one of the oldest of the Pantheon of Auria. He represents the element of fire and wields it with burning passion.

Ignis Incendius, alongside the other Primal Gods Perisha, Rengrown, Teracota, Caelus and Aquandas, came to existence in the very beginning of existence itself as the Eldest required an aspect over the Element of fire which makes up the core of everything material and immaterial in Auria. When Ignis Incendius was born, his flames wreaked havoc in the space which would come to be known as Auria and only with the combined elements of Teracota's Earth, Caelus' Winds and Aquanda's Waters did his fury quench and tame, becoming the landmasses where life could flourish... yet it was the combined powers of Rengrown and Perisha who could truly begin the cycle of life and death by bringing upon their element, the elements of spirit.

Despite what had happened, Ignis Incendius enjoyed the brief moments when his flame was free to roam the empty galaxy in chaotic manner most of all and having his element be locked away into a state of stability only grew the Firelord's anger. In the times after the creation of Auria and the Afterworld, Ignis Incendius would fight independently from the other Gods, often even crossing blades with them as he wished to be freed from his shackles of existence and be allowed to let his boundless fury free to burn whatever he sought to. Would it have not been the reasoning of Heras, the proclaimed Queen of the Afterworld, Ignis Incendius may have even been granted his wishes as the other primal Gods began to grow restless too, causing conflict and destability to fester between the Gods. Fortunately it was Heras just words and orderly actions which allowed Ignis Incendius to be quelled and allow order to prosper in the Afterworld, resulting in the Aurian Pantheon being able to thrive.

Ignis Incendius would soon craft his seat of power in the Afterworld, creating a land of pure fire where he could exist to let his restless flames burn ever bright as he awaits for a day when he may prove to everyone what the uncontrolled element of fire can truly be capable of.

At some point in time, Ignis Incendius would grow a powerful friendship with the God of Life Rengrown and gift him with a consort, his own daughter known as Sol Peleges. Sol Peleges protested this and waged war with her father, resulting in the Primal Flamewar of which the effects could be felt even in the physical realm, bringing a cataclysm to the world of Grukoor that transformed it into the barren wasteland that it is now.

Ignis Incendius is revered in Auria as the prime God of Fire and many ask for his blessings when working with flames.

Powers and Abilities

Being the Prime God of Fire would lead to no surprise that Ignis Incendius is a master over his own element. He wields fire into perfection and can create world-shattering destruction if he so wishes. He may also prevent destruction from happening by withdrawing whatever flames may plague land or person, though he has rarely shown himself a merciful God. He is directly in counter against Aquandas, the Prime God of Water.

Furthermore, Ignis Incendius wield the legendary Cataclos, a massive two-handed sword which can rend and purify an entire army's worth of Cosmic beings in a single swing.

Physical Description

Ignis Incendius is oft depicted a giant humanoid figure with bull-like attributes composed entirely out of fire and molten rock. Built like a powerful warrior, Ignis Incendius stands tall among the Gods, his wings of fire inducing fear to those that dare cross the Pantheon and his hooves cracking the ground on which he stands.

He may also take the form of an infernal, bestial bull with similar horns as his human form.
