Lovemoon is as the name suggests a day when love can be found plenty under the shine of the glowing moon. This holiday has its roots in ancient Pella traditions as it was during this day that they would hold a festival of courtship.

According to Pella folklore - Chieftess Valefur the Silver was born to the role of leader for a prominent tribe of Pella in southern Azura during a time when her kind suffered through mistrust and hate. Conflict between not only rival tribes but also amongst one another was common and she sought a means to end it. Through a daring plot that risked her own life Valefur would seek out Paschan, a chieftain of a northern tribe. There she would discovered that Paschan's tribe suffered from the very same issues that Valefur's did. Through heartfelt convincing and her brimming conviction, Valefur would get Paschan to lead his splintered people to the shores of Hearth Lake where Valefur's tribe also agreed to come. There, a festival would be held to inspire cooperation with not just one's own tribesmen but also the tribesmen of other tribes leading to the first Lovemoon Festival. At the eve of dawn, Valefur sought to meet Paschan one last time under the pale moon to bid her goodbyes to him but instead he'd surprise her by revealing his love to her. Holding hands, the two agreed to unite their tribes into one and establish each other as the first Matriarch and Patriarch of Pellakind.

This story, commonly titled "The First Lovemoon", was quickly picked up by the invading Human clans that started to settle Azura during the Era of Unity. Differing interpretations would lead to the figure known as Paschan to become a holy figure when the Church of Divinity took to rise, becoming known as Sante Paschan - albeit he'd take the form of a Human this time.

Through the Church of Divinity, Lovemoon would become a holiday that started to be celebrated more commonly by more and more races of Auria, becoming a holiday that signified admiration, friendship and unity. Though it is not as visually celebrated than other major holidays, Lovemoon holds significance among friends and especially among lovers.

The Gods of Love Ada and Evan are revered during this time by some.
