Auria's underground region has the potential of yielding an assortment of varied gemstones, minerals and other hard materials commonly used in architecture, blacksmithing, jewelcrafting and more. Each of Auria's regions has its own group of minerals that can be found underneath the earth's crust.

Found commonly in every planet's crust, Gex or Gexium is mined mainly to turn it into Auria's universal currency. It appears naturally in ore as coin-sized, hexagonal shapes which are then branded with the official mark of the Galactic Bank of Auria. Natural Gexes occur in different colours, with emerald being the most common and diamond being the most rare.

Ebon Grisalium

Found in Gwynbrenon and Serena, Ebon Grisalium is a potent crystalline material infused with magical energies. Elves commonly use these crystals to cut them into relics and trinkets of worship while the Naga weave them into their jewelry.

Isstein

Found only in the Shiveer Frontier, Isstein (also known as Icestone) is a common stone that makes up the crust beneath the snow and dirt of the land. It takes on the appearance of ice but is tough as normal rock. When infused with blue flame, Isstein becomes even harder and tougher, surpassing Steel. The most common miners and traders of Isstein are the Urson, who build their buildings and weapons out of it.

Copper is a common metal that can be mined on every planet and at almost every depth. In tribal civilisations, Copper was and still is used to make weapons and armour. It is also a common metal used in engineering thanks to its electrical conductivity. It has a brownish-red colour.

Dragonite

Found in the mountains of Winterfury, Dragonite is a metal characterized for its sleek, royal appearance, incredibly toughness and the ability to conduct and hold magical energies. The Draconic Empire harvests this metal and uses it to build not only their weapons and armour but also their mechanized units and even their buildings in Dragonhearth. They hold a tight monopoly on this resource and do not let any non-Draken or non-Dragon to harvest Dragonite without their approval.

Gold

Mined rarely in the deeper crusts of Auria, Gold is a metal with a notoriously low hardiness thus making it unreliable in the making of armour or weaponry. It does, however, have its uses in Engineering as the Fenik have found use in making circuitry and other mechanical parts. It is also used for its anti-corrosive attributes but most importantly is its impact on the culture of the galaxy - Historically, Gold was used for coinage in early trade in certain kingdoms with the most prominent being in Saberos' ancient Vishaali and Hayka nations trading in gold coins. Even after the discovery of Gex, Gold continues to be used as a black market currency on Saberos among Pirates. Gold is also used in the arts of Auria as well as serve as a core metal in expensive jewelry.

Nythrim

Found only in Gwynbrenon, Nythrim is a rare metal that is found deep underground. It takes on a bronze appearance and works well as an electrical conductor and as a supportive material for armour and weapons. It is a symbolic metal used in the culture of the Elves to decorate their warriors and siege weapons.
