Overview
Saberos is a tropical planet consisting of a collection of small and large islands. Known for its exotic jungles and warm climate, the islands are brimming with wildlife as well as settled life in the form of the Fenik, Hayka and Vishaali, each race having claimed one region as their own. The Saber islands are split into three regions: Chronoworth Reef, which takes up the five north-western islands, Four Eye Archipelago which takes up the four south-eastern islands and Samandir, which takes up the single large island in the north.
Saberos is the second smallest planet in Auria. It is the second Planet from the sun.
Chronoworth Reef
Chronoworth Reef is the largest regions on the Saberos by consisting of five islands, the largest of which is commonly referred to as Chronoworth. It is the islands of the Fenik folk who have managed to settle two of the five islands with proper settlements while the remaining three remain largely wild, used only as places for harvesting resources by the fox people. The climate is balanced and tropical on the islands with large, exotic palm trees found growing all over it. The soil is found to be rich on these landmasses and perfect for growing certain exotic fruit that cannot survive in other regions.
Found all across the land are ancient Vishaal ruins from ages ago that still hold many secrets and wonders to be explored.
Four Eye Archipelago
Although similar to Chronoworth, the Four Eye Archipelago (or Four Eye Islands) are the four most south-eastern islands in the Saberos. Differenting from the other regions, Four Eye is said to be cursed and riddled with dangerous creatures as well as dangerous, mountainous landscape where every single step may lead one to an unfortunate demise. Many old shipwrecks are found on the shores of these islands alongside Vishaal ruins cursed by some mysterious, dark power. The forests are also much thicker here, requiring proper navigation and pathfinding to prevent getting lost in the shadowy jungle that has overtaken the islands.
Hayka make these islands their home and have settled many towns across the four landmasses. Pirates are also a common sight here, mainly because Hayka culture revolves around the lifestyle of a pirate.
The south-eastern most island is known as Duneslither Isle, a landmass once flourishing with life now dried up into a small desert where survival has become increasingly difficult. It happened due to sabotage made by Samantha Voidscythe that cursed the island and its inhabitants. From that day onward inhabitants of Duneslither Isle were trapped with ever-decreasing amount of resources and supplies till they change their minds and hearts, or die. It didn't stop their ability to procreate and so their numbers thin and increase wildly, depending how bountiful the years are and how desperate they are in attempts to break the curse and escape the island. Unfortunately for first inhabitants every time they attempted to leave the island a dense fog would cover their vision and send them back in direction of Duneslither Isle. However for offspring the results are varying, with some returning while minority vanishing, never contacting their families. It is rumored by residents of the isle that they were killed by the Gods as a cruel joke yet there are trapped here. The island is always covered by dense fog and beings that try to reach it end up lost and leave the island on the other end without knowing or are suddenly swimming away from it without noticing.
Samandir
Though at first considered a myth, Samandir is a large lone island to the north which is mainly populated by the stout Vishaali people. The landscape is vast and mountainous with Auria's largest waterfalls running down to the central body of water called the Maw of M'ythosa which is said to have healing properties. The entirety of the island takens on a cup-like figure with the edges of the island being the highest points and the maw being the lowest, resting below the sea level of Saberos. The city of Ev Bolorin lies at the heart of the maw elevated on ancient pillars which the settlement was built upon.
It is rumoured that Sundar Diya is actually a massive crater with the meteor that caused it resting at the bottom of the Maw's depths.
