The Sea of Stars

In ages long gone now a collection of untamed cosmic Ether hovering across the Cosmos was gathered to be compressed and sealed together by the mysterious Eldest in a shell powered by a chosen pantheon of beings known as Gods to house the galaxy of Auria. It is a void between the galaxy's planets which the populations of the world have come to call the Sea of Stars and in modern times it is used to travel from planet to planet using the magnificent power of the Skyships, a mortal-made vessel capable of traversing great distances in space.

Unlike the more inhabited planets found in Auria, the Sea of Stars is a climate where creatures can normally not live as it provides no air to breathe. Mortals, in their ingenuity, have been able to combat this major problem by using magic and technology to create fields of breathable space for themselves to travel the sea unharmed, most commonly found in magic-powered Skyships that generate a bubble of air around themselves to give its passengers time to breathe. The Dragons, chosen by a greater power, have used their immense magic to give themselves the ability to breathe in space without the need of upkeeping a spell, magically altering their own bodies since time immemorial.

The Shards of Dragoosh are remnants of an eight planet, the homeworld of Dragons, which was destroyed in the wake of Xaxandros' madness. Its broken pieces float aimlessly across the Sea of Stars, oft used by spacefaring travelers as temporary emergency landing zones or even made into floating space stations for some, most commonly notorious Space Pirates originally hailing from Saberos. The mysterious Moenreyn people have made the largest of Dragoosh's fragments into their peoples' temple city made from black steel and magic.

Eye of Rengrown is the center most star of Auria, the heart of the galaxy and its lifegiver. Known commonly as the Sun, the Eye of Rengrown provides Auria a stable warmth that allows life to prosper on all the planets surrounding it. It sits at the middle of the galaxy, never moving from its place. It is named after its charge, the God of Life Rengrown.

Eye of Perisha is the farthest most star of Auria, the soul of the galaxy and its guardian. Known commonly as the Moon, the Eye of Perisha has no apparent purpose to the common folk yet on a cosmic scale it acts as the vigilant sentry generating the outer barrier of the galaxy which keeps everything within from scattering. It moves at all times, gliding across the aforementioned galactic barrier. It is named after its charge, the God of Death Perisha.

The late-evening sky seen from Imperia. The sight of neighboring planets, distant stars and the magnificence of the Ethereal Chain are as common sights as clouds for Auria's people.

The Ethereal Chain is a strand of Etheric magic that runs from the Sun through each planet and ending at the Moon. As its name suggests, the Ethereal Chain binds the galaxy together to keep it from falling apart from the inside, guiding the movements of each planet in the galaxy much like a clock does to its arms though presenting with much more complex movements as it is capable of moving each planet at different distances from one another. It is said that Aechronos, the God of Time, is responsible for watching over the chain.
