Background

No less than 1100 years ago the newly crowned Naga Empress Kurai Redi had just finished fighting a brutal civil war against the Oni Dynasty, reducing their numbers from the Jade palace and bringing order and prosperity to her kind. Wishing to secure the future for her people and for her Jundo Dynasty to live on, Kurai found from her ranks of Blademasters and scholars the most charming and intelligent women who would form the Sensh Inju, though to this day the common folk would know them as the Ladies of the Pearl. As an elite group dedicated to being the eyes of the empress in the galaxy feeding her knowledge of her allies and enemies as well as conducting secretive missions to disrupt those she wished to hinder, the Sensh Inju would be notorious and instrumental in the queen's rise to power.

These Naga women (and sometimes effeminate males) would act as concubines and courtesans for specific targets, wishing to charm them with gifts of love and affection so that they may gain valuable information which they'd deliver to their empress, being highly skilled in manipulative tactics and assassination, though they rarely had to resort to murder as they wished to keep their traces clean. As part of their training, the Sensh Inju must also practice high levels of Mantra magic to further their effects on their targets. Each member of the Sensh Inju would experience an intense training regime which leaves failed subjects mortally injured.

Since their inception, the Sensh Inju is a tightly closed circle where only the Empress' own handpicked maidens and servants are honoured with being tasked with such a high rank within the jade palace. Though they were founded during Kurai Redi's rule, the Sensh Inju remained loyal to the imperial throne long after her passing, continuing to act not only as advisors and spies but also as enforcers and assassins directly under the command of whomever is called Empress.
