The large yet wise Vishaali (Also known as Sachchavishaal, singular: Vishaal) of Samandir are a deeply religious warrior people who've resided on Saberos for eons. Believing in two parallel worlds and the concept of divine reincarnation, the Vishaali hone both their bodies and their spirits in order to safeguard their land and culture. They are the predominant worshipers of Teracota, Goddess of the Earth.

Stories tell of a time eons ago where the Vishaal Empire reached the two ends of Saberos and united all its races under the banner of one force - "Ekbal". As the one to watch over those who she deemed weaker, the Vishaal Emperor Manasa became a face of glory in all Vishaal eyes... and a face of oppression in everyone else. She was ruthlessly strict and clear in drawing a line that those lucky enough to be part of her empire could not cross.

For a time, the Ekbal Empire was indestructible. None posed a threat to the kingdom par from the occasional demon attack yet Manasa was as much a ruler as she was a general, besting any attempt of threatening her kingdom...

... then the Dusk happened. The skies were enveloped in shadow, the earth trembled and split, the very core of Manasa's empire fell apart. A great sea emerged and rose from the land that spread apart and from it, a demon god rose. In one devastation, the kingdom fell to pieces and the Vishaal lost their relevancy. Ages would pass, the world known as Saberos became a splintered one where warring factions of pirates now ruled the oceans, sightings of Vishaal became rare as they concentrated themselves onto Samandir, the unsplintered northlands, where they created great temple cities thanking the Goddess of Earth for granting them solid ground still.

In ages past, the Vishaal Empire reached the two ends of Saberos at its entirely, transforming their kingdom into one of Auria's mightiest for some time. Centuries of internal turmoil and fighting with other native races would eventually lead to this empire falling apart and splintering, becoming separate factions As they were no strangers to war, the Vishaali were an unshakable force that no one was able to break through for hundreds if not thousands of years, that is until the Fenik appeared. Though as first the little folk were easy pickings, their creativity and ingenuity was enough to topple the Vishaali forces and push them back, allowing the Fox people a place to settle their kingdom on the islands while the Vishaali retreated to their capital island of Samandir, where they continued to reside, closed off from the rest of the world.

When the skies of the western sea were lit ablaze by a comet of manmade design, the Pashim Chi Vishaali travelled to where it would crash, meeting the small statured Fenik who had travelled to their world riding in a Skyship. There was curiosity between the two people and friendship too for a time, but the industrial nature of the Fenik led the Vishaal to act in aggression, seeking to eliminate those who would tear up the land in order to live. Fenik ingenuity and craftsmanship would lead the Vishaal to their demise, allowing the Fenik to establish themselves properly on the planet.

Till modern times, the Vishaal would live secluded from the rest of the galaxy. Many of its people are brought up with the notion that the rest of the world is dangerous and chaotic, leaving their land of Samandir as the only remaining blessed ground there is. Vishaal do allow transport ships to sail to their ports and welcome outsiders into their culture so long as they do not pose a threat to their peaceful lives.

Religion and Culture

Vishaali worship the Goddess of Earth Teracota. They believe that she is the matron of existence itself. All other Gods are, to the Vishaal, children of Teracota.

The Vishaali believe that existence exists in two parts: Ganansh, the Body, and Takaalva, the Spirit. They live on Ganansh, representing the physical land, while Takaalva is their ethereal state, their spiritual halves. By proxy, Ganansh is a god of life and Takaalva is a god of death in Vishaal perspective. They belief that Teracota will one day bring Ganansh and Takaalva together and create an eternity of tranquillity. Ganansh and Takaalva play big roles in the culture of the Vishaal as well. They pray to Ganansh for health and fertility and Takaalva for knowledge or for a peaceful death. Under both gods are a lineage of lesser Gods who represent aspects of Vishaal life more closely.

The Vishaal practice meditation in order to bring their inner Ganansh and Takaalva together to hone their focus and strength.

The Vishaal do not discriminate other religious views - in fact they welcome the ideas of other faiths so long as they remain in synergy with their own. There is a hostility between them and the Enkhulu, who also worship Teracota through fierce battle. The Vishaal are less tolerant towards Enkhulu.

Culturally the Vishaal also pride themselves in their architecture, having built some of the galaxy's greatest temples while preserving the natural land around them.

Society and its Structure

The current Empire of the Vishaali is known as Mahaan Saamraj and it is led by the Four Emperors of Ekbal. Their capital is known as Ev Bolorin. Their racial symbol is the Ekbal.

Vishaali society is split into four castes, each Caste ruled over by an Emperor.

Dhi - Led by Emperor Dhangark Va III, The Caste of Dhi focuses on education and spiritual leadership. They are the kingdom's scholars and priests, devoting themselves to teaching their people of their ways. Before the establishment of the Caste of Sam, Dhi would also watch over the kingdom's finances.

Kat - Led by Emperor Raaja Duhlammis, the Caste of Kat focuses on the nation's military. They are responsible for training the Vishaal Monks and organising the defence of the empire.

Ban - Led by Emperor Anushka Bichhaanaeent, the Caste of Ban focuses on labour. Most citizens fall under this Caste by birth as it is the caste that requires the most amount in numbers. Anything from farming to building is resolved by the Caste of Ban.

Sam - Led by Emperor Ashia Goldatask, the Caste of Sam focuses on the Empire's trade and diplomacy. Established recently as the Galaxy becomes more united, those who belong to Sam are tasked with the monumental duty of travelling outside of Samandir in order to establish diplomatic negotiations and trade with other kingdoms. Domestically the Caste of Sam also deals in the kingdom's internal trading and finances.

Racial Traits

Body and Spirit - As they are spiritually vested, all Vishaali have a stronger connection to their own spiritual selves.
Sarvee - The teachings of Sarvee allow the Vishaal a greater proficiency to earth-based and healing magic. These perks can combine for even greater effect.
History through Architecture - Vishaal are studious when it comes to architecture. They have an easier time understanding architectural topics and history based on a building's design.
Hamesasha - The teachings of Hamesasha allow Vishaal a proficiency when fighting while unarmed. They are also more difficult to disarm.
Heavenly Form - The body of a Vishaal is built to withstand abuse granting them greater vitality.

Physical Appearance and Behaviour

Vishaal are stout Elephant-like humanoids with girthy builds. They have thick skin that ranges in dark hues of black, amber and blue with some also posessing white skin. Some Vishaali can grow hair and fur on their heads and shoulders. They have large flappy ears, long trunks in place of noses and also ivory tusks that grow in length as they age. Proportionally to their body, their heads are large as well. Their hands have four fat fingers and their feet are hoof-like.

Traditional Vishaal clothing is tribalistic, with a lot of exposed skin due to the warm climate they live in and their thick skin providing them with a stable body temperature. Vishaal are fond of decorating themselves with piercings and markings, the latter of which always has some meaning behind it, like a story or a god.
