Background

Ages ago, a group of seafaring Humans in Saberos would come across a secluded island somewhere in the Ocean, one with a single tall mountain with numerous waterfalls and a rich jungle all around. They would call this island Nautin and make it their home. As the Human tribes settled on the landmass and begun to explore the islands, they'd find ancient temples and archives with depictions of a kraken god who is said to provide its followers with fortune and fortitude, the great God of the Sea known as Raj'Samud. Already believing that the island was their first gift received from the god of the sea, these Humans begun to worship him with great devotion, erecting a multitude of shrines and altars in his name and turning Nautin into a fortified temple in the middle of the seas with a self-sustaining society, its denizens calling themselves the Kabunenun.

Overtime the Kabunenun would continue to prosper, growing yields from the rich marshlands and praying to their god as thanks for what they are given. Without any outside influence, the Kabunenun became a secluded society that does not welcome outsiders arriving on their temple grounds with open arms rather the temple guard would often detain outsiders and turn them into slaves working among the Kabunenun farmers until they too may see the light of Raj'Samud... and if the light of their god does not reach them they would instead meet a watery grave.

Kabunenun warriors are powerful and few in number, harnessing a mix of magic and physical might to deal with their opponents. They are known for carrying blunt weapons like hammers and maces that can crush the physical bodies of their foes while their magic is a form similar to Shamanism though twisted in the name of Raj'Samud, primarily using it to exhaust their targets or directly drain their willpower and life to further make them vulnerable to the teachings of the God of the Sea.

Overtime some Humans would leave Nautin and settle on more islands in the vast ocean of Saberos making making of the secluded islands their home and either continuing the ways of the Kabunenun or forsaking it for a simple lives, erecting small villages in the jungle and become peaceful as they reconnect with the world. These Humans would go on to discover and worship the God of Mortality Mauiomuos.
