Background
Master of the dead and brother to the Sun God Ra-Mun, Anub is a dark but benevolent God that serves as a loyal follower of Prime God Perisha, acting as the God that tends to the corpses of the fallen.
At first, Anub and Ra-Mun were one being called Amun, a combination of Perisha's and Rengrown's powers but at some point during the Dusk of Dawn he was split in two.
The Dusk of Dawn would precede an era of thinking that led to the Gods making contingency plans to prepare for an inevitable second coming of Demonkind. For Perisha and the Gods that followed him it meant preparing an army of chosen undead that would be revived as puppets to fight once more on the corporeal fields of war, their general becoming Anub who to this day watches over the tombs of the fallen and handpicks worthy contenders for when they must arise anew.
Anub would remain mostly in the shadows of irrelevance until the people of Chronos began to worship him alongside the other Diwntr, building monuments and temples in the name of jackal God. As one of the Five Creators in the Senkh mythos, Anub is the Magus of the Pantheon, said to wield powerful magics that bend and manipulate life itself, bringing with him the gift of existence. Though not wildly spoken about in Livanin, the Senkh believe that all life starts and ends with Anub which is why they hold it in high importance to adorn the places where their children are born and their dead and laid to rest with imagery of Anub's visage, watching over the start and end of a cycle.
Anub is also revered by the Enrali although to a lesser extent as Perisha, Shikaze and Malva. Anub is credited for granting the Harbingers the wisdom needed to raise soulless corpses as temporary servants without desecrating their beings. Anub's form can rarely be seen in certain architectural designs in Wylderin and Naga Dynasty regions too, particularly in places of eternal rest.
Powers and Abilities
Anub is capable both physically and with magic, wielding deathly magics to bend the lifeforce of those he fights.

Anub most often appears as a half-giant Jackalman garbed in the clothes of the devoted normally worn by the people of Chronos, although he leaves his muscular torso exposed. He has black fur and rich purple eyes as well as golden tattoos around his eyes and parts of his arms and chest.
Anub sometimes appears as a feral Jackal, although retaining his general appearance that he carries in his humanoid form.
