Background
As one of the six Primal Gods of Auria, Caelus is one of the oldest of the Pantheon of Auria. He represents the element of wind and wields it with care.
The skies above the planets of Auria are all distinct in their nature but no matter if they are the dusty horizons of Grukoor or the chilly, cloudy heavens of Wyrmeron, all of Auria's skies are watched over by one entity: Caelus, the God of Wind and Skies, often also named the Skyfather. He is the supposed father of the Gods of the four seasons: Fonix, Aestonix, Aunix and Hienix. With his guidance, his children give the planets their distinct seasons, working together at all times so that no winter is too harsh and no summer too long for their given planets.
It is said that Caelus's wings hug around the planets as a whole, the rich blue skies hidden behind clouds his healthy azure feathers. He has a rough relationship with the God of Storms, Thursa, who often ruins his splendid and peaceful skies with his raging storms and rainy weather. He represents the element of Wind and has close ties with the God of Fire Incendius.
Powers and Abilities
As the Prime God of Wind, Caelus can manipulate the very air of Auria to do his bidding. He may call upon slicing winds or push foes aside with forceful typhoons and even summon tornadoes to wreak havoc across the land should he desire. He may also use his powers to enhance himself or his allies with speed and accuracy.
He has in his possession and a large silver bow called Cyclos which he may move around freely using his magic to shoot at far away foes with aetheric bolts.
Physical Description
Caelus resembles an avian creature closely tied to the look of an Eagle. His body is soft and cloud-like and his eyes glow with a soft blue colour. A hundred tailfeathers adorn the back of this God, each waving slowly and steadily through the wind which he produces.
Though he does not use this form often, Caelus may take the form of a celestial Avari-like Humnaoid. Much of his iconic bird-like features in his bestial form are retained in his humanoid form.
